Ferrari: You go, Rubinho!

You go, Rubinho!
I am definitely hoping for a Barrichello win here. He was absolutely
SMOKIN'! on that pole lap.
The Schumi Luck has turned into the Schumi Curse these last few races.
He still had the luck after that crash, though. Oh well, he can still
bask in brilliance - let's have Rubinho make it 16 of 18 for The Big Red
One!!

....Hey, no one, save Rubens and his family, would be happier to see
him win, I've met him a couple of times and he's a tremendously nice
guy, and he drives for the only team I care about. But if you know
any of his history in the Brazilian GP you must realize the chance of
his even finishing is extremely slight, making that of his winning
highly improbable. It's just reality.

And so it wasn't to be. And somehow I got the impression that Michael's
interest waned at times, as well.
I guess Christian Klien doesn't really like Mark Weber.
What is the deal with the Minardi team, anyway? How can they come in
there week after week and get their ass kicked, doesn't that get
particularly expensive?

Rubens even finishing was a moral victory, his finishing on the third
step a real one.
That one's down to Weber.
Minardi, pre Paul Stoddard used to spend less than Ferrari's pasta
budget. While under Guido Minardi's control they were one of the last
true privateer teams with a long if not storied history in the sport.
Now they're a vanity plate for one of the most obstreperous and
contrary figures to ever walk the paddock, and with Ron Dennis still
involved that's saying quite a lot.
