Mazda Miata: will a 99 torsen lsd fits on a 96 open differntial miata?

To all,
I have a 96 open differential miata, I am just wondering if a 99
torsen lsd fit directly on it? I've known that if I get a 96 lsd, it
will fit as bolt on, without all those half shafts and stuffs. Just
wondering if any of u guys know about this.
