agh.. Man.. I go nuts with 3 spot welds.. I can' tseem to find a spot
welder cutter that doens't explode like a grenade when it's hits the
metal..

Johnny,
September 2003 Mustang Monthly has an article on installing plastic dams
from Mustangs Plus on page 60. This would be an acceptible alternative if
your cowl isn't too bad and you want a quick fix.

Eastwood makes an excellent spot weld removal tool, item no: 19017 .
Cost is $19.99. http://www.eastwoodco.com
Well worth the money..................

She doesn't smack on impact? I don't know if I'm using it wrong or
what.. I've tried.. oil.. no oil.. slow, fast.. starting the drill while
it's in there.. Drilling pilot holes.. I must just be buying a horrible
product.. I get through maybe 3.. 5 if I'm lucky without 1 tooth coming
off.. And when the 1 tooth comes off.. the rest follow on the next
hole.. I'm only using the 3/8 though.. Maybe it's not taking the whole
weld out, and the weld is too hard for it?

Chucky,
I'm surprised that your Eastwood bit did not work out for you. I can
usually get at least two to three cars worth of use out of each
one............Then again, I cool mine constantly with a little bit of
machine oil....So perhaps the long life is due to this extra procedure
on my part......................
