Mazda Miata: updating a 98 mx5

im looking to update my 98 mx5 1.6i mk2 with a new steerning wheel and seats
and gear knonb is it possible to usemk 2.5 components to give it a more
current image especially with the seats as they are now in one pice with
integrated headrest
