BMW: The unused connectors in the rear wings...

Hiya all, just wanted to ask something that I'm curious about.

I've got a '98 E36 318iS Sal, and whilst changing the rear shock mounts, and
all the upholstery removal that entails, I noticed two groups of electrical
connectors tied up in the rear wings, one each side.

I assume they're for fitting _something_, but my question is what. Can I do
anything useful with these sets of connectors, or are they for OEM Top
Secret Toys only?

Most likely for electronic you can order as extras when byuing the car
from new. CD changer as somebody has mentioned, but also NAV, TV,
Phone and what have you.
Ask a BMW dealer, he should know.
