Under Hood and Interior Paints (Black)
Does anyone the correct paint for under the hood and black dash paint for
the 1965 Corvette?

Or, some people particularly like John Deere "Blitz Black" semi-gloss,
available in spray cans from John Deere farm equipment stores.
DuPont Lucite Acrylic Lacquer #99SGL "diamond black" is said to be a
correct match for dash.

Corvette Central can hook you up with the primer and dye you need, its not
really paint. I used it on my Oyster leather wrapped wheel that was pretty
ugly. I sanded it a little, cleaned it with 409 and primed and sprayed it and
it looks brand new, that was 10 months ago and it still looks new. They wanted
me to send them my wheel and they would rewrap it for $200.00, I paid about
$30.00 and it looks great!
