BMW: turn indicator 83 320i

We had a problem with the hazard switch on a 83 bmw 320i and
replaced the switch . now the signals will not work and the light on
the hazard just stays on when it is pressed. also it seams that
only one side of the outside lights stay on. My first guess is to
replace the turn indicator flasher when i find it. If it might be
something else i would appreciate any help.
