transmission slipping
me transmission or something is slipping i think. its fine in first and
second gear but once im in third and i get to around 3000 rpms it starts
slipping i dont know what the problem is. one shop said they think its an
engine problem but i dont know how that could be

I have 97 Galant and it's doing the same thing. My mechanics says there
could be a problem with the overdrive. But he does not work with
transmissions so i'll have to take else where. I will let you know my
findings in a couple of days.
