Mazda Miata: Top Purchase Help

Top Purchase Help
I am replacing the top on my 99 Miata with a cloth one, no zipper, a rear
defrost.
Does anyone have any experiences with the following tops/vendors.
1. Robbins (I've much feedback on this, but not for 99 and installation on
one)
2. Duetto (prides on quality, installation support & direction, and
customer support)
3. http://www.topsonline.com (Lots of options and colors)
For my car, the Robbins & Duetto tops are about the same price ($600) with
shipping.
The topsonline one is $359 (did not checkout shipping)
That a large price difference!
Is the topsonline one cheap, or the others just overpriced?
Which one is:
easiest to install (directions and support)
has a better fit (and fold)
TIA,
- Pat

Re: Top Purchase Help
My experience is with Duetto. I replaced the top on my 97 about 2 years
ago. It's vinyl with a zipperless glass window. I was originally going with
the Robbins but the price difference at the time was significant enough that
I opted for the Duetto. So far, it was a good choice and I'm very pleased
with the top. The quality is excellent and it fits as well as the original
equipment top it replaced. It folds down easily and lays down low enough to
allow the vinyl boot cover to fit with no problem. They really did a nice
job with the instructions and illustrations. I replaced mine with no help
in about 8 hours with no major problems. The only thing I would do
different if I ever have to do it again is replace the rain rail. For
what it's worth, if I had it to do over again, I'd go the same way without
thinking twice.

Re: Top Purchase Help
I purchased one from Duetto and have been very pleased with it. The
installer said it was a quality top.
