Sort of a big claim for a little price. Worth it? I'm curious because
even I can do that installation. I need to start small and accomplish
something to get over my lame 'it's a Corvette' fear. And WTF, extra
hp is extra hp.

Pure B.S. Buy one, if it will make you feel better.
Do you think GM would miss something like this that made 12 H.P?

Re: Throttle Body Flow Booster
It's a feel-good upgrade. You know how your car always runs better after
you wash & wax it, or how much more fun it is to drive when a complete
stranger compliments your car? Sort of like that. I doubt there is much,
if any, HP improvement from a cheap little piece of metal, although I'm sure
there are plenty of meatballs who will tell you otherwise.

Newer throttle body designs were more streamlined like this device. There is
also one made by TPIS that supposed to swirl the air so that laminar flow is
improved into the plenum. They has flow studies to back it up fwiw.
Definitely doesn't make 12 HP though.

Re: Throttle Body Flow Booster
LOL
You MIGHT see 12 hp IF you had the exhaust/airfilter upgraded AND
reprogrammed the ECM
AND over 6000 RPM with this airfoil.
As far as day to day driving.... nada, zip, zilch, seat of the pants
difference.

Re: Throttle Body Flow Booster
i have the throttle booster... it makes a noticable throttle response
difference but none that i can feel in the seat. it is supposed to flow
40cfm better at 3000rpm and up. not sure how effective it really is but it
makes sense to me that it will smooth out the air turbulance at high rpms.
