Nissan Maxima: Thinking of buying a Maxima

Hi all,

I must be out of my mind. I am thinking of trading in my Y reg Saab
9-3 turbodiesel for two older cars - a sports car and a Maxima/QX.
Main reasons - enjoyment, making £3K in my pocket, having a cheap
luxury model combined with a sports car will satisfy all my driving
moods, etc.

Can anyone advise generally on:

1. likely troublespots on Maximas (I've been told leaking from the
heating radiator is one)

2. whether there are any non-Nissan franchise service specialists in
South Manchester area

Any advice, much appreciated.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Approx N or P reg (for around
£2.5K) It's actually a QX I want.
