Jeep: Terminal Wiring Harness?

In trying to solve the "Mystery Problem", I'm faced with a new problem. On
the 86 XJ 2.8 there's a "Ignition Terminal Harness" which seems to be a
short patch cord between the distributor electronics and the engine harness.
More like an adapter cable. I want to change this cable/harness out. Anyone
know of a supplier? Or are my choices salvage/rebuild? Jeep dealership says
it can only get the item as part of the complete engine harness assembly (if
they can get it at all.)
