    A. Red?

    B. What happened to those pics of your workplace after a Mustang happened
    to it?

There is no sign of any sort of rework anywhere on the car.

No overspray, no primer, no fasteners missing. No bits of blue tape or
sandpaper inside the engine compartment. The paint on all the fender bolt
heads is unbroken. All panels line up straight with even gaps both sides.
Side lights are properly attached and are not loose. Glass is all original.
    Windshield says "Toyota" on it.

Hood, grille, fenders and A-posts all line up. Pinstriping is same on all
panels and was obviously applied all at the same time.

All forward panels have about the same number of stone chips (which no one
has made any effort to touch up) and are identical shine, shade and
texture. I can find no evidence of any repaint anywhere.

    What makes you suspect rework?

Well, the MR2 was red, so...

Also it was the best I could find (and boy did I lok at a lot of them).

But it does look cute, doesn't it?

I seem to have lost those when I changed servers a while ago. I reformatted
the old server's hard drive to put XP on it, and forgot to retrieve those
pics, which were not backed up. Anybody who still has them in their cache
and can send them to me again will earn my thanks.

    Yes

I found a 95, but the engine was shot.

Oh, just couldnt see the VIN sticker on the inside edge (under the hood
area) on the fender and it appeared brighter on the mount flange under
the hood, but it may have been lighting. My bad!

Sweet good lord, that thing looks like a '94-ish Corolla!

But smaller. Dimensionally as well as in the accessories, it greatly
resembles my '75 Corolla 1600, but with more power.

Is it me or is the Corolla a different car when ordered in the US or Europe.
    Check the galleries at
    http://www.toyota.nl/showroom/corolla/gallery.html
    http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2004/corolla/exterior.html

    Also check the thumbnails at
    http://autogids.autotrader.nl/carbasedata.php?cache=no&vpos=1&add=1&id=12184&ref =atag
for the European Corolla 1995 ('92-'97)

This one looks a hell of a lot like the Tercel on Teggers page.

I think the car on the pages you list is the same Corolla we get. The
    giveaway is the dimensions.

    Wheelbase:
    1996 Corolla: 97" (2.46m)
    1999 Tercel: 93.7"
    1975 Corolla: 93.3"

    Overall length:
    1996 Corolla: 168" (4.27m)
    1999 Tercel: 161.8"
    1975 Euro Corolla: 157.3"
    1975 US/Canada Corolla: 165.2" (that's the battering-ram bumpers)

I find it interesting that the Corolla has moved upmarket and gotten
bigger, while its original place in the market was taken up by a vehicle
almost identical in size and equipment, but with a different name.

In the US, we get ONLY the four door sedan version with trunk as
