Dodge: Strattus with check engine light on

Strattus with check engine light on
I just had several hundred $ work done on the 99 Stratus with about 90K
miles on the V-6 engine. Among other things they "flushed" the injectors.
Three days later the check engine light is on and the dealer wants to
replace the injectors. Am I being scammed by my dealer? The engine runs
fine and no apparent loss of mileage or power. Plus my local mechanic told
me that Dodge has changed to codes on the computer so he can't work on it
now.
Could they have fouled one of the sensors ( 02 etc) with their magical
injector flush job? Can I reset the check engine indicator my self? How?

Re: Strattus with check engine light on
Dealer did not say just offered to r&r the injectors.
Is there a product I can put into the gas/oil or air intake to try and clean
the injectors again? So many 98 cent bottles on the wall it is hard to
choose. I'd be willing to go up to $5.00 if it comes highly recommended.

Re: Strattus with check engine light on
you dont know what code was found in the system? and what your local
mechanic is saying makes no sense either, sounds like he doesnt know what he
is doing, if you have an 02 sensor code it makes no sense to replace the
injectors, if you say the engine runs good.....it makes no sense to replace
the injectors, you have to find out what the P-code is to recieve any kind
of help from me
