Formula 1: stop the damn race

stop the damn race
Why didnt they stop the race ????
from a spectator point of view some of the best drivers are now out and we
have to watch the boring sc laps
When will the Powers at F1 wake up and realise that this sport only exists
because of sponsors and the fact that we watch it.
so we need it to be as exciting as possible

They like to avoid restarts. Delays the race, which is not good for TV,
and is hard on the cars doing more than 1 start.

Indeed, despite being the most exciting part of a race, it's usually the

.....because the track was not blocked & it was not dangerous to continue
under the safety car (which was onlyt out for about 3 laps)
Not relevant to the sporting contest.....those drivers that had the good
sense to steer clear of trouble deserve the advantages they got.
All 3 or 4 of them
exists
.....we also do not need artificially manufactured contests

Television schedules come ahead of that, unfortunately.
It is a great shame that we were deprived of three championship
contenders before the first turn; it is a great shame that Kimi's remote
championship chances have effectively been terminated by his great
rival's team-mate and brother. It is pure fluke that Michael was not
handed today an almost unassailable lead in the championship that he did
not deserve.
But television schedules come ahead of that, unfortunately.

You seem to have a very selective memory, as there have been several
races with first-lap accidents like today, in which Michael was involved,
but without a restart.
It has nothing to do with the persons involved, it only depends on the
amount of debris/car wrecks on the track and whether they can be safely
removed or not.

Really??? Remember Hockenheim 2000 when Schu and Fisi collided at turn
1 and the race went on? Then the previous race where at Turn 1 Schu
had a comming together with someone and the race went on again?
Take you biased glasses off and do some readin up on previous races
before you spout your pathetic biased twaddle!
Thank you!
