Re: steering
The most likely cause would be tires that are out of balance. They tend to
cause the type of speed sensitive vibrations problems you describe. Lots of
other things could be causing it too, most related to the front end
suspension and steering controls.
How old are your tires and when were they last balanced? Are they properly
inflated and are they physically in good shape (no bulges, broken inner
belts, etc.). If they are new, take them to get them re-balanced (many
shops offer lifetime care packages so follow up care is free of charge). If
they are old and worn, then it would be best to replace them and have the
tire shop do an alignment and inspect the tie rods and ball joints.
Good luck

1) tire balance
2) front axle inner CV joints
3) ball joints or tie rod ends
