BMW: Squeaky windows on E46

Had the same problem. First dealer attempt at a fix was to lube down all of
the rubber seals with some sort of silicone lubricant. When that wasn't
entirely sucessful, they replaced the seals with an updated set. Evidently,
    this was a common complaint.

Fresh set lasted quietly until lease end.

Believe that it was between the first fix and the second that three of my
doors glued themselves shut. Lube that was used interacted in some way with
the rubber and turned to adhesive.

If you're still under warranty, take it in. If not, go buy some aquapel from
your dealer, and apply it to at least the top edge of all of the windows
(where they come into contact with the window seals when closed.) I just had
a convertible in the other day that sounded like the whole top was loose,
but after doing this, it was fine.
