Dodge: spirit cuts out and in while driving?

Could be your crank or cam sensors. They will cause that type of
problem but you need to check the codes. The sensors are cheap and are
easy to install if that is the problem.

No crank sensor on that vehicle, when you say the turbo turns on and off
what does that mean?? is the engine cutting on and off? is the engine going
into overboost? and shutting down?? does the check engine lite turn on when
this happens?? you gotta give more info then that if you want someone to try
to help

I will be driving along and the engine will cut out a few seconds and
the tech needle swings back and forth. Then itruns fine until the next
time. It's like the I turned off the motor.

I checked the rotor and it looks good. I also tapped the distributor
housing to no avail. When I am driving on the highway and using the
cruise when it cuts out the cruise is turned off. The pickup plate was
replace last October, the cap was replaced at the same time
I would welcome any more ideas you may have.
