Spark plugs and wires for a 2002 EGT

I don't remember if I asked this question here or somewhere else, so please
forgive my senility if this is the second time you saw this question....

I'm planning the purchase of new plugs and wires.... I'd like to see what
the group thinks is the "best" and why.

I know that with some wires some modifications are required and I'm ok with
    that.

So, that's the question... what do you think?

    S.

Bosch, NGK and Denso seem to be the most popular, with platinum and
iridium plugs being all the rage. They provide very good mileage (~60K).
NGK V-Power copper plug supposedly offer higher performance, but only
last ~30K miles. However, they're less expensive, so they're quite cost
    effective.

As for wires, there's a lot of overhyped junk out on the market. Again,
if you stick with Bosch or NGK, you can't go wrong. Magnecor makes
excellent wires, but they're much more expensive. Even if you don't want
to spend the money for them, it's worth it to go to their site
http://www.magnecor.com and read their technical material. It explains
the difference between good wires and pretenders.
