Jeep: Spare Tire Stuck on 97 TJ

Bought a 97' Jeep TJ and put 31" Trxus rubber on it. When I went to
remove the spare to get a 31" spare mounted - The lugs were seized on
the studs pretty well. I ended of turning the studs inside the spare
tire mount. Any suggestions as to how to get the spare off??

Remove the tire carrier from the tailgate. It looks like there is enough of
a head on the other side to grab it with a vice grip. It that doesn't work
you'll have to drill them out. I have the tire carrier from my TJ in the
garage gathering dust. I had a Bestop carrier installed. You can have it
for the price of shipping if you want it.
