Jeep: Soft Top Zippers

What's the best way to lube them. I've heard that oil just
attracts dirt, as does silicone.

Some folks say wax doesn't help - The local Jeep dealer was
clueless when I asked about
it.

Any suggestions?

I use Dow Corning 55 O-Ring Lube, apply with a Q-tip. The stuff is only
sold commercially do a Google Search. I also use it for all seals including
weather stripping. It is the best stuff I have ever used.
