    Smog tube

I need to replace the tube that runs from the H-pipe to the smog tubes on
the RH side of my 93 5.0 engine. Texas Mustang Parts has a replacement, but
for over $100. Does anyone have any ideas towards a cheaper solution?

    Thanks

How's a really long silicon hose with high heat tolerance? I'm not sure
where they sell those but I used one on my 95 GTS a couple years ago for the
    same thing.

I bought about 2ft of that and cut a small piece to go from that pipe to the
cat. The guy at Napa said it shouldnt be used for the entire thing. But
hey it looked like it would work to me (:

Pull the tube off and get the plugs for the heads. Ford sell them. If you
have cats this will prevent them form getting the air they need, but if you
runn off-road and change for inspection (like me) it works fine. The short
drive to inspection and back will not hur the cats w/o air.
