    Sienna problem

    Hey folks,

I would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem. My
2001 Sienna has been having check engine light problem recently, and
it's been the 5th straight time I took it back to the dealer.
Originally it sounded like a simple problem, and typical cause would
likely be the oxygen sensor. But apparently it is not going away, and
from the service records I know that the dealer had consulted the
factory several times, and neither time did the fix last for more than
a few days. I seem to notice a correlation that the engine light
always came back on when the I started hearing an engine clicking
noise, the kind of noise I would hear when typically driving at
30-40mph, and would be particularly clear when driving uphill. Does
that sound like an engine problem? Any ideas/suggestions?

    Much appreciated!

    YW

Does the ticking noise sound like tappets (valve lifters) perhaps they are
not getting enough oil? shagged oil pump??? not enough oil??
