    SE-R Sentra

See where the late models of Sentra SE-R has 2.5 16 valve engine &
also one model with the 175 hp,also a 4 cyl. engine...with the fact that the
Sentra is about 800 lbs lighter than the Altima this one should be a real
    firecracker.

    Re: SE-R Sentra

Your point? If you were to compare two cars with the same engines and an
800 lb difference, chances are the heaver vehicle will not be as quick. If
you were to put the highest avaialbe performing engine in it's respective
car, the QR25DE Sentra would get smoked by a VQ35DE Altima (both having auto
or manual trannies in the comparo). If you are comparing pure handling
numbers, the heaver vehicle will most likely come out on the losing side on
a tight road course. Depending on how tight the course it, even the QG18DE
Sentra could potentially perform better than the VQ35DE Altima. Of course,
if you put the ligher Sentra with either engine up against a VQ35DE powered
track model 350Z on a tight road course, the Z will blow out the Sentra.
So what do you really consider a firecracker?
