Formula 1: Ron Dennis blames Rubens for crash????

Ron Dennis blames Rubens for crash????
"Another day of mixed fortunes for the team, but nevertheless an
exciting race for Formula One. Kimi's retirement was a result of a
chain reaction initiated by Rubens making a poor start, but that is
motor racing."
If Rubens made a poor start what did Ralf make as Rubens was along
side Ralf? I don't subscribe to this Formula England crap but surely
this is Ron having a pop at Ferrari and not at his mate's driver
(Williams)??
As Ralf has a 10 place relagation i guess the stewards think the same
thing too!

He said "initiated" not caused and he went on to say that he considered it
a racing incident. IMO he was very fair minded about it, basically
considered it bad luck. Not that I'd agree...

Rubens did make a poor start.
I have no idea what Ralf thought he was playing at dropping back
alongside Rubens; but if it hadn't been for Rubens' poor start, Kimi
would not have been up alongside him.
My take on it is that Rubens' poor start was the initial trigger, but
was not culpable. Ralf then squeezed Rubens completely pointlessly,
forcing him into Kimi. It was a joint effort, Rubens simply through not
making as good a start as he would have hoped, Ralf through a dickhead
manoeuvre.

You contradict yourself, you say Rubens didn`t make a poor start but then go
on to explain the reason why he did...?
I think both Ferraris made bad starts ( habbit at Germany ) and by that i
mean if you loose a place when the lights go green it`s hardly a good
start...?

Re: Ron Dennis blames Rubens for crash????
I agree with Ron Dennis, though it pains me to say it...... It was a
racing incident and no more.
I've watched in in slow motion (God bless TIVO) multiple times. It's as
clear as me most prominent proboscis. Rubens fucked up. He was in the
position to clearly see all players and he was the one trying to fit in the
middle. Kimi R had the jump and Ralf had the right to select his line.
No way Ralf could be expected to surrender the corner to a car behind his
rear wheel. A car beside you gets room..... a car behind you gets
squat.
Rubens should've backed out of the squeeze because he just plain didn't
have position. Just a tap on the ol' brake and slide into position behind
Ralf and it never would've happened.
I believe the stewards are full of crappe to impose a penalty of this
magnitude on a WDC contender over what was nothing more than racing contact.
Ralf should contest this.
I'm starting to believe the guys claiming Ferrari unfairly influences the
calls.

Boy are you full of shit..
My take is that there is very little blame to be apportioned to any
drivers, largely a 'racing incident'.
Kimi (in hindsight) should perhaps not have moved on Rubens until he had
cleared him. Kimi *knew* Rubens was there and could see Ralf coming
over. He was in the best position of any of the three to avoid the
incident. Rubens simply had two guys do a pincer movement on him before
he could respond.

IF Rubens had a bad start, and Ralf started ahead of him on a

JUST HOW THE HELL did Ralf hit him????
Rubens would need to have a better start than Ralf for Ralf to be able
to a side-to-side contact with him...
Looks like Dennis is being a shithead too...

Defending his line according to him. What a maroon. If he had put
his foot down and simply driven straight he would have been
comfortably second at the corner.

Hang on a minute cowboy. Are you seriously suggesting that Kimi has
x-ray vision? Perhaps that is why Ron hired him at much more expense
than Heidfeld...
If you look at the many re-runs of that start concentrate on the one
from above. It shows quite clearly that there is a reddish-orange
Ferrari, you know the faster one driven by the team's B driver,
clearly between Kimi's line of sight of where Ralf was. The only twat
not paying any attention to anyone around him, but ditheringly
"defending" his line, is Ralf. He should have seen Rubens - shit he
should be looking left as he was actually driving in that direction.
So you are insisting that Kimi has x-ray vision. Well they say that
species evolve - perhaps mankind *is* making a major breakthrough?
Look again blindmelon chitlin. One guy was driving with his left
tyres on the edge of the track/on the dirt. He was driving straight,
passing the red car. he was not performing any part of a pincer
movement. You will see the lesser schumacher performing one half of a
pincer movement all by himself. You will see his left rear smash into
Ruben's front right which sent him directly into Kimi causing Kimi's
rapid meeting with a tyre barrier. All Ralf's fault. Kimi and Rubens
did *nothing* wrong. It was big of Ron Dennis to call it a racing
incident, but in fact it was a racing incident that simply did not
need to happen and was brought on by Ralf, on his own, driving like a
twat.
Face it. Ferrari did nothing wrong. Thats should go a little way to
compensating for your upset at what one of your love-god schumacher
brothers did all by himself.
