    Resetting Locks

Ok, what's up with these locks? I have a '95 525i (e34) and the locks are
doing their own thing. The remote will lock the truck and gas door and
activate alarm, but won't lock or unlock anything else. The driver and
passenger doors will only lock/unlock with the key from the outside, and
neither of the rear doors will do anything. Any help?

    Thanks

Does locking the driver door also lock the passenger door?

No, the only way to lock or unlock either door is to use the key. Neither
of the rear doors lock or unlock unless you do it manually. The remote only
locks the truck and turns the alarm on/off.

    Weird.

That points to the central locking controller. IIRC, it has two circuits -
doors and boot/filler as part of the valet parking arrangement fitted to
    some cars.
