Remove crank pulley '91 Stealth?
I am trying to replace the crankshaft pulley on my '91 stealth, DOHC, and
can't break the nut loose. I'm hoping that it's a right-handed thread -
anyone know? Any tips for removal?
Thanks -

Re: Remove crank pulley '91 Stealth?
It's a bitch to do without a good impact wrench. The best way without one is
to pull the cam angle sensor connector off (stops the car from starting).
Put a breaker bar on it and wedge the handle up against the frame. One click
of the ignition and it will bust the thing loose.
That trick has worked everytime without a problem.

Someone else suggested that on a web site, and it did work.

Re: Remove crank pulley '91 Stealth?
Your kidding? Did it just sit there? Or did the breaker bar slip? If it
slipped you didn't wedge it at the right spot. I've never heard of that
trick not working.
