Pontiac: Recall question for you GM folks

Recall question for you GM folks
I have a question. My car had a recall with the windshield wiper motor, and
power. They found that a strain relief problem for the power wire would
cause some damn odd things to happen with the wiper motor. The recall was
suppose to be done on my car already (I bought it second hand, and I checked
with GM). My problem is that the wiper motor isn't getting enough power to
rotate the motor all the way around. Only the high setting of the wipers
does anything, and it only causes the wipers to move up and down about 3"-5"
quickly. If you fiddle with the connection going to the motor, sometimes you
can get the motor to act correctly. If I think that the recalled part has
failed again, would I be better off just paying my mechanic to fix it, or
persueing GM in the matter? Oh, it's a 94 Pontiac Grand Prix. I bought it
used, and It's always had a wiper problem. Both the motor, and delayed wiper
control board have been replaced. Your input would be greatly appreicated.

I replaced the motor myself. Not hard. # bolts and it comes off. Part cost
about $50. I couldn't wait for GM to fix it. Call the dealer and ask him.

I've already replaced the motor, and the delayed wiper control board.
