Rear wheel alignment, 97 Civic CX

I've got a 97 Civic CX Hatchback. Can the camber and tow in/out really be
    adjusted on the rear wheels???

You wont need a chamber kit if you got with the Pro-Kit springs which only
    have a 1.3 inch drop.

    Hmm

He didn't say anything about lowering the vehicle.

Alignments need to be complete by a professional. They have the fancy $$$$
machines to make all the adjustments.

My mistake, I thought the only people who lowered their cars would mess around
with the chamber or chamber kit.

Some of us like to get a little more steering response or cornering grip, but
    keep the ride height stock.
Some of us also do our own alignments with string and a few inexpensive tools.
It ain't rocket science, but it IS trigonometry.

Tires are expensive, espeically good ones.

Some people are willing to tweak their cars with strings and other are not. I'd
rather spend my $100 dolors and get a laser guided, high tech, equitment to do the
alignment for me. Also, my car might have 1.3 inch drop, but my ground clearence is
still better then many German cars. (do to a very flat underside).

To each his own. Too many people think they are paying a qualified tech to align
their car, when they are actually paying someone to coerce them into buying a
front-end rebuild. If you can find a competent independent tech that does good
work and actually understands what he is doing, you are lucky.
