Toyota Trucks: Rear Slider Window Latch

All factory sliders I have ever seen are 2 pane. My guess is the dealer
doesn't stock parts for the single pane and it's not worth their while to
order a new latch from the manufacturer. If you know the brand maybe you
can order one directly from their factory. The junkyard isn't a bad idea
though. I think the factory sliders on Ford and Dodge trucks are single
pane, you might find something you can use.

I broke one pane of a 2 pane slider not too long ago (I was being dumb!). When it came time to replace it I found one dealer would only sell the whole window, but found another that would sell the single pane needed. The dealer did warn me that it was not an easy item to replace, but sold it too me anyway. I was able to get it in but it was a lot of work! I think that this may be why they just go for replacing the whole window.
