Re. Liberty CRD
Anyone get a Liberty CRD yet.
I live in Toronto and there is no build date here yet but I would like to
order one. Finally a small North American diesel powered vehicle!
Thanks,
R

Re: Re. Liberty CRD
Hello Folks:
There is a Dealer in Milwaukee with one. It makes a little diesel noise
when started up cold then goes away after a 2 mile warm up. When punched
from a stop it will move out just like the V6 engine. What it will do west
of Denver at 11,300 feet, will be interesting to find out.

Re: Re. Liberty CRD
Since it's turbo, it should do just fine at altitude (I'm in Ottawa, Roger
.... and I'm looking forward to seeing one myself, and maybe adding it to the
2 year retirement plan list)

Talked with Dennis Riggs at Shelby Motors in Champaign IL today. They have
one and are expecting 4 or 5 more.

I'm in Ottawa too, but I rather wait for a Gladiator (same engine) with a
6 speed transmission. Liberty is available only with 5sp auto (which is a
shame!)
For Canada we will get only 500 Liberty's diesels and they'll probably go like
a hot bunnies :-)
