Ask your service manager to set up a meeting with you, him, and the
regional rep from Chevrolet. Nothing better than face to face. Also, ask
for a copy of the Lemon Law form to fill out. IIRC, if your car was in the
shop a total of 15 days for that warranty repair, GM gets one more shot at
it and then has to buy the vehicle back.

I don't know how loud your noises are but keep in mind that the engine has
roller rockers and they're inherently a bit more noisy.

My 2001 makes louder noises when started cold after it sits for a few days.
Two dealers swear that this is just the oil running of the rockers. It does
diminish greatly after a minute or two. But the roller rocker sound is
    always there.

Let me know how you make out with GM.

Also, if you're still within your 3 yr warranty, you could buy a GMPP
extended warranty for peace of mind. Or not.

Tommy, you didn't mention what 800 number you called, but if you haven't
tried the Customer Communication Center, give them a call at 1-800-263-3777.
When you call them, have the following information available:
    1) Your VIN
    2) The name of the Dealership and Service Advisor or Service Manager you
    have dealt with
    3) Copies of all repair orders
    4) Before calling, determine what exactly it is you are looking for from the
    dealership.

    Good Luck!
