    Previa strut info

My Previa has 100K and runs great. It seems a little soft on the bumps and
sways when stopping. I took it to the shop for new front struts and 2 people
say they won't touch em. One shop even called Toyota and they say to avoid
at all cost replacement. It seems you have to take the dash off to access
the top bolts. Any one have info? Will my struts go another 50K? Anyone had
    the job done?

Ow! Now there's a good design.

If your car is bouncing up and down when you stop, you DEFINITELY need new
struts. They are approaching the dangerous level, and they won't last
another 50K. Yoú'll have to ante up and pay the labour if you can't do it
yourself. It may be easier if not cheaper to get a Toyota dealer (they can
hardly refuse to service a Toyota after all...) to do the work. Feel free to
get your struts elswehere if the price is better (and probably will be).

I got a quote from Toyota at $750. Pep Boys will do Gabriels for $320 and
NTB will do Monroe for $292.

    Hello NTB!
