1964 - 904 Carrera GTS

of its predecessors. The 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS. The first racing
coupe
powered by the now familiar four-cam engine. At the time it was built, the
904
frame design was considered an engineering masterpiece. Weighing only 119

prototypes were demonstrated at the Solitude circuit on November 26, 1963,

press and potential customers. Its first competition was at Daytona in
February 1964.
