BMW: pixels missing on obc e39

Hi
I've just bought a 528 e39 and there are quite a few pixels missing from
the dash including odometer and the information display below it, they seem
to disapear in warmer conditions as i have been able to read the odometer on
some occasions, Can this be fixed i.e by re-soldering or does the whole
panel have to be replaced.

I suggest that you entrust it to a specialist (not necessaiaily main agent) with
the instruction "can you fix my car". This will give you the legal contract
that no fix no pay and doesn't leave you to diagnose the fault - you could be
wrong!

PS Why did you buy it with a fault?
