Oxygen Sensor - how to replace?

I have a 3.25i 1995, 130K miles and just got the yellow light - check
engine, I believe it is the O2 sensor.
How hard is it to replace this?
    Needs for special tools?
I did it before on a Honda and it was as easy as replacing a spark plug.

    dunno about a 325i, but on my 95 M3 i have 2 O2 sensors. They both screw
into the exhaust by the catalytic converters.
    easy as pie to replace.

What makes you think it is the oxygen sensor?

I agree... I wouldn't just go throwing parts at it until the light turns
off. That would get very expensive. There are a ton of things that can turn
that light on. You really should take it to a dealer and let us scan it for
you to find out for sure.

It should be a similar experience with your BMW.
