IIRC, about 20 minutes. The only thing special you need to do is... well,
open the hood (well, that and have your eyes open).

No prob..... if you buy an aftermarket blower motor, you may have to splice
the connector onto the replacement motor (sorry, can't remember brands and
years). Test the operation first, I have come across quite a few where the
colours had to be reversed....

depending on what "noise" it's making, take a look under the glovebox by the
intake with a flashlight.
I found a plastic grocery bag had sucked into my F150, and was not only
making a noise, but blocking airflow..
I fished it out, and all was good !

Thanks all, it was the motor and also had to replace the squirrel cage as
well, the plastic ford cage was kind of brittle :0)
