Nissan: Opinion question about a Titan feature

Opinion question about a Titan feature
Hello,
I've been lurking for a awhile but this is my first question. I recently
purchased a Nissan Titan XE. Its an awesome truck with power windows,
locks, and lots of other features. But the one thing it doesn't have is
power side mirrors. I did not discover this until I got the truck home, but
you actually have to roll down your window to manually adjust your side view
mirrors, and you need to get out of the truck to adjust the passenger side
mirror.
For a 30K top of the line Nissan truck, I think this is a silly oversight.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks
Allen

Re: Opinion question about a Titan feature
Alan,
The XE does not come with Power Mirrors. That is why I ordered an SE.

For me, the fact that they are heated would be more important than
having them powered.
The only time I have to reset the mirror positions is after I have
scraped the ice off them. :-)

Re: Opinion question about a Titan feature
Thanks for bringing this up. I will be replacing my 03 Frontier with a Titan
in summer and probably would have made the same mistake you did by
assumption. Ludicrous if you ask me, a 2004/5 $30k truck should have both
heated and powered.

The $30k version does have the heated and powered mirrors, plus a whole
lot more amenities. It's the $23k XE model that doesn't.

Re: Opinion question about a Titan feature
Thanks for all the replies
While this is the "base" XE, this had a base sticker price of 29600.
Just in case you're interested, this all started as an Ebay listing, and the
Ebay ad said power mirrors, so, in a way, I feel like I was not sold what I
expected. I'm still trying to work this out with the dealer.
Thanks for your comments

Re: Opinion question about a Titan feature
4x4 XE Crew Cab is $28,850 - 4x4 SE Crew Cab is $30,450.
Sounds like you have an issue with the dealer..
Do you know if you get ab XE King Cab you can't get power Windows? I almost
made that mistake, note the "I" in that statement. Know what you are buying
before you buy.
With that all said, it shouln't be hard to add power mirrors to the XE.
