Old A3 intermittent service cost in UK

My 2000 A3 will be coming up for its service in 2004 (it's done 47000m) -
the dealer's sticker suggests May 2004 but who knows.

Anyway, my question is, what should I expect to pay at an Audi dealer for
this service in the UK (North)? Or an Audi 'specialist' garage? Though
I'll probably go to a dealer.

    Thanks

    Alex

My 97 A3 needs a service in the next few weeks. From a dealer I've paid
about £70 for an intermittent service and about £120-140 for a "full"
    service.

I'd find a local VW/Audi specialist and take it there if the car is out of
warranty. All the dealerships I've ever dealt with (Audi and Volvo) are
just after your money. My last 120k service went from £300 for the service
cost (and that was discounted) to over £900 when they told me what needed
    doing.

I told them just to service the car, I didn't need 2 new tyres at £100
each, new wipers, new indicator bulbs (because apparently the ones on it
aren't yellow enough), etc etc. They even tried to get me to change the
rear damper boots, I got it home and just turned them around, theyre only
cracked on one side (the spray side). Now they'll go for another 50k
