Dodge: Odd Winshield Wiper problem.

Odd Winshield Wiper problem.
I have suddenly developed a problem with the windshield wipers on my '92
Dodge Dynasty. I can't turn them off! Intermittent settings also no longer
function. When the switch is in the off position, the wipers are working as
if they are at the "low" setting. I can switch it to the "HI" setting, but
can't turn them off. I also noticed that the headlight warning has also
stopped working. Both were working normally this morning, but just stopped.
Any thoughts?

The switch that allows them to return to their "parked" position has gone
bad. In essence, the system believe that the wipers aren't returning to
their "parked" position.

Problem resolved.
At first I thought that the switch as described by James C. Reeves was the
issue, but it was not. I had found that the connector to the TCM had worked
loose, so I disconnected the battery, cleaned and tightened the TCM
connector, and reconnected the battery. Now all works properly again.

Re: Odd Winshield Wiper problem.
That is a common problem for the Caravan models 96-2000.
what blows be away is not even that it is a common problem that isn't
recognized by the manufacturer, but that it is wired to the TCM, versus
the BCM.
Glad you solved it. On my old 97 GC, the dealer wanted me to spend
several hundred dollars to replace the BCM for the same issue.
Tightening the grounds solved it.

From what I read it's the "same problem". What ever that means. :-)
