Nissan: New X-Trail

The 2005 X-Trail, which is not available in the United States, will go on
sale in Nissan dealerships across Canada this spring.

Looks pretty sharp - something between a CR-V and Ford Escape.

By the look of it, its actually the current model X-Trail which has
been on sale in Europe since the end of 2003 which is, in itself a
very slight update of the original car which went on sale world-wide
(except N America) in 2001.

Incidently Ford has discontinued sales of its UK version of the Escape
(badged Maverick) following dismal sales (in comparison with its
competitors it is dire).

The X-Trail has won the Auto Express Recreational 4x4 award for the
past two years.
