Re: New subscriber
Welcome Dave,
I love the 69, probably my favorite year for some reason. Hard choice to
pick which one I would take if stranded on a desert island. Have fun here
and block some of the sender's that ramble on and on and irritate some other
members. I have gotten a lot of good information here and appreciate it.
Makes it a smaller world for us Vette enthusiast....

Re: New subscriber
You guys are making my 68 feel bad. Just curious, what's different/better
about the 69 that makes you like it better than the 68? Inquiring minds

Re: New subscriber
Good question, most don't know the difference between a 68 and a 69. Myself
all of them from 68 through 72 are what has made the Corvette a legend. They
were probably the worst built of all of the generations, (except for the
mid-years), but have grown to become the symbol of Corvette.

Re: New subscriber
I guess it's the little turn signals on the front I like better. Maybe a
couple of articles of 68's being a problem child like the 84's.
I wouldn't kick a 68 out of bed though, close enough to 69 for me. Love the
vette's.

Re: New subscriber
You have to remember that those "articles" were written in 68, when the
first few rolled off the line. I would submit to you that after 35 years
and a full restoration there's a pretty good chance that those "problems"
have long been removed.
Dad - I know what the differences are, I was just trying to find out why
those differences made the 69 more appealing to some people than the 68. It
comes down to the same thing as 59 Fords can't possibly have aerodynamic
stability with those tiny little fins, if you get my drift.
