Toyota Trucks: NASCAR Tundra??

NASCAR Tundra??
Toyota starts racing in the NASCAR truck series next year. The Ameriacan V8s
are 355 cubic inches, WAY bigger than the Toyota V8. But, the Toyota is DOHC.
Does anyone know what motor configuration will be found in the Toyota
racetrucks?
Also heard that Camry will race in 2005. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure. I've seen a Tundra drag racing running 6 seconds on an inline
6 cylinder. Oh, a Solara also ran 6 seconds.

Inasmuch as the Democrats are complaining on how long the war is taking,
consider this:
It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the
Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
It took less time to find Saddam's sons in Iraq than it took Hillary
Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to
destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Teddy Kennedy to call
the police after his Oldsmobile sunk at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in
Florida! TWICE!!!!!
Damn our military is GREAT!!

I assume it will be "stock." Just like the stock, rear-wheel drive
NASCAR Chevys, Dodges, and Fords... :>))
Maybe the name should be NAOKOSACAR (National Association Of Kind Of
Stock Appearing Cars Auto Racing)...

"TANKIE" <com> sez:
V8s
DOHC.

Er, this one? From the link article:
"... Measuring 358 cubic inches of displacement, the V8 is capable of
producing up to 650 horsepower. "
