    Mirrors won't stay put!

I've got a Wrangler and I moved the mirros up to the windshield mounts
so I can take my doors off. When I get on the highway, the damn things
fold inwards. Why? How can I stop that?

    Brian,
I had the same problem. The Mirrors also vibrated so badly as to make it
    difficult to see through them.

I would recommend sending them back and getting mirror relocation brackets.

    Google this:

    Wrangler mirror relocation

    Good luck,
    Mike

This maybe old, but my '95 YJ mirrors were loose. There is a phillips screw
on the bottom of the housing that if tightened, really tightens them up!
Stop mine from moving when the doors were slammed!
