MIL Code 25 on 97 TJ.

    Hi,
I'm kind of new to the whole Jeep scene, but so far I am rather pleased. Had
the lid off for the first time the other day, man was a great.
Anyways, my Check Engine light just came on today, and I'm not sure what to
do about it. I suppose I could take it in for service, but I'd prefer to try
to fix it myself if possible. Anyways I got the MIL codes off the odometer,
the codes were 12 and 25. 12 is a battery disconnect, not a big deal (don't
know when it would have been disconnected, but it doesn't sound too bad. The
other one, which is what turned on the Check Engine light, a code 25, "Idle
Air Control Motor Circuits; or Target Idle Not Reached" the description
being "An open or shorted condition detected in one or more of the idle air
control motor circuits; or Actual idle speed does not equal target idle
    speed".
Anyways, I'm looking for some help to try to track it down a little bit
more. I think it may be idleing a little slower than normal (the Tacometer
    is reading about 900 RPMs).
So any tips on what I might check? Links/resources that might help me out?

    Update,

The code eventually went away, so I didn't worry about it. It seems though
that it was related to a combination of a cracked seal on the exaust
manifold, as well as a dying catalytic converter...
