Mazda Miata: Mazda premacy engine No?

Hi,
I am about to buy Mazda Premacy 1.8.
Need to check paperwork against numbers on the vehicle.
Couldn't find where is the engine number stamped.
Could somebody help?
Also is there any service manual like Haynes for this vehicle.
Did Google and Amazon search but no luck.
