It worked, after I lost my cable in the middle of the transfer I was a bit
hot but I fixed the cable ( high winds here tonight )

Here is the link to the files you asked for, They are in zip format and it

    Probably a good choice.

I think that basemap is stored in ROM and can only be loaded at the time
of manufacture or by Magellan repair centers. And if you lose the
basemap you would have to send it back to Magellan for repair.

Also the detail map image files on the newer Magellans, if that is using
one for the street level detail, are all written to only work on one GPS
receiver, it uses the GPS receiver's hardware serial number to make sure
that it only works on one specific unit.

And lastly, in Magellan's recent change of ownership and with some of
the changes coming out of that, I've heard some reports of people have a
hard time contacting or getting replies from Magellan for support and
    repairs.

    Dear FM,

Sorry, I'm not sure my previous message posted. I have a Roadmate 300
I purchased of E-bay and has no Manager CDs. I will be glad to pay for
media and shipping if you can send the to me! I would really
    appreciate it.

    Thanks
