    Looking for Victims of 1SourceAutoWarranty.com

Anyone have a bad experience with 1SourceAutoWarranty.com Car Extended
Warranty? Right from the beginning I've had problems with them. I took my
car to the dealer and 1Source refused to pay what the dealer was asking for
the price for the starter and labor so I had to pay the difference. Ended up
paying $150 on a warranty that's zero deductible and their most costly
option, "The Diamond Plan." This time they are holding me up by sending out
a claims adjuster and the dealer has been waiting for two days for an
answer. My Internet research has turned up numerous people with similar
complaints. The attitude of the people at claims department (Sherman and
Chris) is just horrible. So I tried to call the sales department. It's
amazing to see how even their attitude changed once they got my check. The
sales department was SO nice. Until they got my check. Now if I call the
sales department, the second they realize I'm not calling to buy their
warranty, they transfer me instantly to the claims department. They don't
even say they are. No goodbye, nothing, just click! I've never had to
struggle like this with an auto warranty company. I paid all this money for
peace of mind and all I'm getting is grief. All 1sourceautowarranty.com
victims please contact me. Let's get together a class action lawsuit. If we
band together maybe we can get them to honor their contractual agreements.
There's power in numbers. Any other ideas on what to do in a case like this?

Yeah, I got sucked into that scheme of crooks too. I went with Warrnty
Gold. They went bankrupt and I'm out the full fee with no recourse except
"get in line" All that used warranty stuff looks like a pretty good scam to
    me.

Not much help, but you may be able to claim it as a short term loss on your
    taxes.
    Sorry

Just my 2 cents but this why you should pay the dealer for a warranty if you
really want one and not worry about saving 2-300 dollars by buying one over
the internet from a company that will warranty your car without it being
inspected. Makes you wonder how they stay in business? Oh wait they didn't
    stay in business did they?

I don't know what you can do now, maybe there is something, but we can
    all learn from your mistake.

I sent out something similar to the below a few months ago. I think
it's the right way to handle insurance companies:

    1. When negotiating for a new car, at some point someone will ask you
if you'd like the extended warranty or insurance or whatever.

    2. Go through the motions. Ask them about it. Get the lowdown and,
most importantly, the price. For the sake of argument, say the
    price is $2000.

    3. Kindly thank the salesman for the offer, but DO NOT BUY IT.

    4. When you buy the car, immediately go to your bank and open the
cheapest account you can. Put exactly $2000 in it.

    5. Never, ever, spend this money for anything except your new car.

    6. Feel free to use it for oil changes, wiper blades, tires, major
    services, and other repairs.

Given the quality of cars, especially Lexuses, 99 times out of 100
you will come out ahead. THAT'S HOW INSURANCE COMPANIES STAY IN
BUSINESS, BY BETTING ON THE QUALITY OF THE CARS THEY INSURE.

    Good luck in the future.

For what it's worth, I've had good luck with 3 different WARRANTYDIRECT.COM
polices. (No affiliation...just a satisified customer).
