Corvette: Just installed Borla Stingers, Wow what a difference! It sounds great.

What exhaust systems did you consider other than the Borla?

Was there any difference in measurable torque or horsepower (up or down)
when you installed the aftermarket exhaust?

How acceptable is the noise increase with the top UP on the convertible?

I considerd the Corsa also but I saw a poll somewhere on the net from
a bunch of Vette guys and Borla Stingers won by a landslide. Also the
guy that builds the Lingfelter (spelling?) Vettes likes them the best
from what Ive read. The noise is fine acually i could take it even
louder seeing as im a sportbike rider so i love the sound of a good
pipe ,and its not my main car. The Vette is for nice days and having
fun.

Why? They sound like a Ford tractor. Put a set on for a club member and
thought they sucked. Didn't even like the looks of them. I've had Corsa
Indy, open crossover, on it for 5 years. Sure knocked my mileage down. ;-}}
