Mercedes-Benz: Israeli Whistleblower headed to America?

Israeli Whistleblower headed to America?
I'll bet there are no network television interviews awaiting this guy in
the U.S., the "American" media will do everything they can as always
to keep Israel and the legions of Israelis inside America happy.

Vanunu faces curbs after jail
GROUPS campaigning for Mordechai Vanunu, the whistleblower who revealed
details of Israel's nuclear weapons programme to The Sunday Times, fear
that his movements will be restricted when he is finally freed next year
after 171/2 years in prison, writes Peter Hounam.
Ernest Rodker, head of the Campaign to Free Vanunu, said there were
suggestions that Israel's security establishment might try to keep him
under a form of house arrest and deny him a passport.
Representatives of campaign groups from North America, Europe and the Far
East have said they would resist any further attempt to limit Vanunu's
freedom. Supporters are being encouraged to travel to Israel to attend a
rally outside Ashkelon jail when he is freed in April.
"This should be a moment of celebration, not uncertainty," Rodker said.
"Mordechai is in a very positive mood. He no longer seems weighed down by
the terrible things that happened to him.
"After coming to London to thank everyone who has helped him, he hopes to
settle in America. We are counting the days to when he will be free and
hope no obstacles will be placed in his way."
Vanunu, a nuclear technician, disclosed in 1986 that Israel was making
advanced weapons of mass destruction. He was lured by a woman Mossad agent
to Italy, kidnapped, smuggled to Israel and convicted of treason and
espionage.
He spent the first 11 years of his 18-year sentence in solitary
confinement. The sentence has been reduced by six months
under a rule that applies to all long-term prisoners in Israel.
His brother Meir, who lives in Australia, visited him regularly during the
summer. "I am amazed at his inner strength," he said. "I just want to make
sure that when he is free he is given a chance to adjust. Many things have
changed since he was locked up in 1986, including the pace of life in the
21st century."

Euhh, this group only deals with the cars of BMW, for their nuclear
endeavors you should find another newsgroup. Besides that, was he 171/2 =
85.75 years to prison or just a mere 17.5? Just wondering. That will be a
shock for him, seeing what Bangle did to BMW.

Actually this fool has crossposted to at least five newsgroups and the
one that seems closest on target is the county music newsgroup.
